Ann Wagner Kicks Off Campaign with Supporters in Her Own Backyard
Effective Conservative Ready to Take on Tough Fights in Washington and Win
BALLWIN – Surrounded by supporters, family and friends at a barbecue in her own backyard, Ann Wagner tonight kicked off her campaign for Congress reaffirming her commitment to be a strong, effective, conservative voice for families in her hometown Congressional district.
Despite the heavy winds and rain, hundreds of energetic supporters were in attendance.
“We are at a crossroads in this country,” Wagner said. “Skyrocketing debt, spending out of control and an administration that would rather point fingers, raise taxes and support big government takeovers than find real solutions to tough problems. Most concerning are the millions of unemployed families, struggling every day. Many of them live right here in the Second Congressional District. I am running for Congress because our families deserve a strong, effective, conservative voice who will fight for them.”
