Ballwin – After announcing a series of endorsements from prominent conservatives, Ann Wagner today reported raising more than one million dollars in the first 5 months of her campaign for U.S. Congress.
The Wagner campaign reported today having raised $532,093.07 during the 3rd quarter of fundraising bringing the total raised for her campaign to $1,055,223.07. Ann’s detailed campaign report reflects more than 900 donors since announcing for Congress in April.
“I am honored to have earned the trust and support of so many citizens across the 2nd District,” said Wagner. “I am energized by the strength and momentum of our campaign. And I intend to answer the call of the people to bring strong, effective, conservative leadership to Washington."
Wagner announced the endorsements of key conservatives over the last two weeks including former UN Ambassador John Bolton, US Senator Roy Blunt, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and, most recently, former United States Attorney General and Missouri Governor and US Senator, John Ashcroft.
“Our campaign has walked neighborhoods, held grassroots table top meetings and has made personal visits and phone calls across the 2nd District,” said Wagner. “Our citizens are scared for the future of their families and scared about the direction of their country. And so am I – that is why our campaign is focused on returning our country to its core, conservative principles: stop borrowing, stop spending, make it easier for small businesses to hire workers, and get the government out of our healthcare.”
Ann grew up, attended school, worked, raised her family and currently lives in Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District. Ann’s campaign will have more major announcements soon so make sure to visit www.AnnWagner.com on a regular basis, visit her on Facebook and follow her on Twitter. |
